Wife of ten years, mom of two small, picky girls (sigh). Love to cook, love to eat, love to share my recipes and finds!
I so want to have a gracious table. "Characterized by kindness and warm courtesy." It's a dream of mine.
Growing up, our table was far from gracious. It wasn't rude or anything, but it definitely wasn't warm.
As soon as we were old enough to reach the stove, we were on our own. We were like the first family EVER
to get a microwave. Needless to say, my mother did not cook. So I didn't learn, until I discovered the
joy of cooking for myself, as an adult. Call me crazy, but really is a joy. (Then again, if you're here at my recipe blog,
you probably won't call me crazy.)

State of the Blog
Name: Still lame. What was I thinking? Look: Better, but not quite "there" yet. Content: Sporadic. I'm working on it.
Hey! I like this blog, too! Never have looked at it until today. I, like you, would like to have a gracious table. My son's now almost 1, so I think it's high time to start having meals together (at least dinner) at the table... anyway, I'll keep reading if you keep posting. The rigatoni sounds scrumptious.:)
